Our white wine is made from 100% Trebbiano Spoletino, produced in limited quantities from a small selection of vines in our vineyards.
Trebbiano Spoletino is an indigenous white grape variety from Umbria. It’s a variety that truly originates from Umbria, and especially the region around Spoleto, but it was nearly extinct around the year 2000. This Trebbiano variety is completely separate from the much better-known and more widespread Trebbiano Toscano.
The grapes are carefully hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where the wine is also aged until bottling to preserve its purity and character.
The 2025 vintage was particularly successful. Favorable weather conditions allowed us to extend ripening into the second half of October, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality. This enabled us to craft a wine that fully expresses the distinctive character of Trebbiano Spoletino, with vibrant freshness and deep, expressive flavors.
